 Member of Parliament Lok Sabha from 2004 to 2009 And 2009 to 2014 (Two Terms) from
Karnal (Haryana) and defeated Sh. I.D. Swami (Former State Home Minister), Sh. Ashok
Arora, President – Indian National Lok Dal) and Sh. Virender Maratha (Bahujan Samaj Party)
 Contested Lok Sabha Election in 2014 from Karnal and Stood Second from BJP candidate Late.
